High street stores taking a little too much inspiration from high end designers is a somewhat controversial topic which inspires arguments over what 'true fashion' is and whether or not you need money to achieve it, etc etc! Although I can't stand 'fake' designer goods such as 'Vivienne Westwood' bags with a dodgy looking orb logo because they're so obviously fake, in my opinion you can't beat a good designer rip-off (and yes there is a fine line between the two!)
If you loved the Miu Miu Fall 2011 shoe collection but couldn't quite scrape together enough cash for a pair of your own, now is the time to head over to Topshop (especially if you're a student - 20% discount ends midnight on Sunday) and grab yourself a pair of their 'Jamaica Curved Heel Glitz Shoes' (above) for £55. Check out some of the considerably more pricey Miu Miu versions below - the black and gold Topshop Jamaica shoe looks as if it could be the love child of the Miu Miu glitter & calf hair pump and the glitter finish curved heel pump!
