My second year of university is drawing to a close (yikes), which means exams and career related panic, but also the annual Law Ball. This year it was held at the stunning Manchester cathedral and all in all was a wonderful night! The theme was James Bond 'Skyball' (har har), and so I decided to take inspiration from the likes of Emma Watson and Angelina Jolie and swap the ball gown for a sharp tuxedo. I was a little nervous about this idea, but when I found this tux on ASOS (in the sale for £31.50 in total, too!) I knew I had to go for it. My shirt is a very basic white button-up from Next, but I like how the buttons are hidden, and my amazing shoes are by Lucy Choi from my favourites Daniel Footwear. You can't quite tell from these photos but they are a snakeskin texture, which is why I bought this fab patent croc clutch bag from Motel to match - perfect! Don't forget you can get 25% off Motel until May 12th (and 20% off after that) with my discount code 'hannahlouisef'. What do you think? Good idea, or should I have gone for a dress?
